Greek bronze anatomical cuirass GREEK BRONZE ANATOMICAL CUIRASS

A sacrificial breastplate, with perfectly detailed anatomical features, flanged edges, soldered nipples, and tubular hinges on the sides and shoulders, which was flattened and nailed up in a sanctuary. One of the heavy iron nails is still present in the left shoulder plate.
