ROMAN POLYCHROME MOSAIC PANEL: EROS SPEARING A SPOTTED PANTHER

The animal leaping at him from the left. Behind the figures is an elaborate acanthus scroll. Richly colored stone and glass tesserae form the figures and scroll, while the background is rendered in black, gray and dark brown tesserae.
