ROMAN BRONZE HERMES (MERCURY)

With silver inlaid eyes, standing in a relaxed pose, the weight on his right leg, nude, but for a short cloak around his shoulders, a pair of small wings and a lotus leaf on his head. His right arm is extended, and in his left hand he holds a bag of money. Now atop a green marble pedestal.

Ex old French collection.
