ROMAN BRONZE MASK OF A YOUTH FROM A PARADE HELMET

With thin ocular slits, slightly open mouth, and hinge at the mid-forehead; restored.
This beautiful and expressive bronze mask, hammered from a sheet of metal, formed the anterior side of a face helmet and was fixed to the body of the helmet by a hinge located on the forehead.
