HELLENISTIC POTTERY BOWL OF THE MEGARIAN CLASS

Hemispherical, with fine molded designs in relief of an Amazonomachy, a Centauromachy, and a Greek warrior fighting against a Persian.
The Megarian bowles were patterned after contemporary metal bowls.
