HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA WOMAN OF FASHION

Standing, a fragmentary fan in her right hand. She wears a long chiton, her himation falling from her shoulders and over her arms and back, the hair is arranged in a wide chignon at the nape of her neck.
Acquired at Sotheby's Antiquities sale 6383 (December 17, 1992), lot 247.
