CHALCIDIAN SILVER MOUNTED BRONZE HELMET

With a narrow flanged neck rim. The generous brow section is crowned by a gabled brow line with a pointed peak. The crown ridge has a forked bronze crest holder soldered onto it. This is tipped with palmetto ornaments. Traces of a silver eyebrow-line molding, soldered on with tin.
