ETRUSCAN BRONZE NEGAU HELMET OF THE VETULONIA TYPE

With a high domed body surmounted by a median ridge. An unusual feature is the softly rounded edge of the brim. It has holes for the attachment of a chin strap on each side. Two incised workshop or ownership marks can be made out on the forward face of the brim.
