| ETRUSCAN BRONZE WARRIOR WEARING A CUIRASS Striding in combat and wearing a hight-crested helmet with the cheek-pieces upturned, his curisass with shoulder flaps and a belt, the short skirt layered, his high greaves covering his knees, his left arm extended and lowered before him, once holding a shield, his raised right, a spear. | These figures, generally much smaller in scale, were popular in shrines and rural sanctuaries in northern-central Italy, from Umbria to the end of the Alban Hills.
