EGYPTIAN OLD KINGDOM LIMESTONE STATUE OF A BAKER

Kneeling and kneading bread. Integrally carved with a rectangular base. A extremely fine example of Old Kingdom sculpture, in an unusually fine statue of preservation with extensive remains of original pigment.
Mid-section of both arms above and below the elbow are restored.
