IMPORTANT ROMAN MARBLE DEEP BUST OF EROS STRINGING HIS BOW Love’s messenger and the companion of Aphrodite is depicted bending forward to attach his bowstring. His head is turned to the right, facing the viewer and his centrally parted hair ends in curls. He has the features of an adolescent with a knowing expression.
