Roman marble bust of the emperor Domitian ROMAN MARBLE BUST OF THE EMPEROR DOMITIAN

An idealized bust of Titus Flavius Caesar Domitianus, Roman Emperor from AD 81 to 96, wearing the corona triumphalis and a cuirass, the buckles of which remain on the shoulders.

The third and last emperor of the Flavian dynasty, he was an enlightened despot whose various programs led the way to the peace of the second century.
