ROMAN BRONZE SILENUS

Depicted standing with his legs apart, the left slightly advanced, wearing an animal-skin kilt knotted in front, the garment splaying, revealing his genitalia, with a corpulent torso, a thick garland around his neck, a wreath of ivy and berries across his bald pate, with a creased forehead, articulated eyes, a pug nose and a full beard and moustache , the separately-made arms now lost.
