Wearing a chiton, wrapped in an himation, a modius on his head. He stands with his weight on his left leg, his right knee bent as if striding; his right arm is outstretched.
Possibly based on the statue of Jovi Serapi from the macellum at Puzzoli near Naples.

Ex English collection; LB collection, New York, acquired from Royal-Athena Galleries in 1985; J.A. collection Almadoro, Portugal.
