|MIGRATION PERIOD IRON BANDED HELMET
The heavy, dome body is forged in two halves with the crestband riveted to it in groups of three rivets and lightly widening in the neck section, the also riveted headband overlaps in the back.
Helmets of this period are quite rare.
5th-6th Century AD
