BYZANTINE HEAVY BRONZE AND LEAD RELIEF SECTION: THE SACRIFICE OF ISAAC Beneath a garland arch Abraham stands with a sword raised in his right hand and grasps Isaac by the hair as he kneels, nude, at his father's feet. At right a flaming altar and at left a ram. At upper right is the sun and the hand of God enters at upper left, raised to stop Abraham. Very rare.
